Love my fence! It has been beautiful since May of 2014. I had a neighbor’s large tree branch fall on it and the only section damaged was the section hit. The posts held the other sections of fencing. I had Mid Atlantic come out and replace that section and I’m good as new. I also lost an above ground pool one season and the fence held even though 15,000 gallons of water went flying toward it. Mid Atlantic does wonderful work!

Thank you, Ryan Keegan, for getting us started on the path to this new deck and fence. You were a sales rep who listened to what we wanted. You made suggestions for additional items, but respected our wishes and gave us just what we asked for. Thank you also for recommending the survey company. It saved us many hours of looking for someone on our own.
I also want to thank the men who installed the deck and the fence. They are truly master craftsmen. As craftsmen, they arrived on time and worked many hours to see that the fence and deck were installed correctly. They cleaned up at the end of each day, only leaving those items still needed in the backyard.
The fence went in first. There were issues with the ground being so hard due to lack of rain over many weeks. The two men who dug the holes for the posts never gave up nor gave in. They stuck with it for hours, literally. They arrived before 8:00 a.m. and did not leave until after sunset when all fence post holes were dug. I was especially impressed with the detail work done to make sure the gate latch worked “just so”. My husband is quite a detail-oriented man so this attention to detail was much appreciated.
Next was the deck. Again, the craftsmanship that went into making sure all was straight, tight and finished properly was a joy to watch. The men who came were so pleasant to deal with. My Spanish is minimal but somehow, we conversed just fine! I was especially pleased to see them using plumb lines, levels and measuring tapes almost constantly. Their attention to detail is also appreciated. The last day of installation they not only rinsed the deck with a hose, but I noticed they were on hands and knees scrubbing the deck flooring. The PVC handrail down the stairs to the yard was a very pleasant surprise.
Last, but surely not least, thank you to all I was in contact with during this job. My husband tells me I am impatient. I prefer to think of it as wanting to understand what is going on. Every time I called the office with a question, concern, whatever, I was dealt with patiently and professionally.
We have already had people drive by and stop to admire the fence and deck and ask about who installed it. There is no question we recommended Mid-Atlantic Fence. And we will continue to make this recommendation in the future.

Working with Mid-Atlantic Deck & Fence Company was a wonderful experience! Mike came out and did all the measurements, in fact, Mike came out a couple of times to meet me in person, and answer all of my questions. On that second visit, Mike provided me with an estimate for 206 LF of vinyl fence. I got exactly what I asked for and best of all, there were no hidden costs. The day of installation I met with Eric and the crew and walked me through the placement of the fence, including 2 gates and in ONE day I had a beautiful fence. Let me state also that Eric and his crew were professional and did a great job including cleaning up debris and ensuring no screws or nails left behind. Nelson and his installation crew did an excellent job. Before work began, Nelson walked our property with us as we discussed how and where the fence and gates would be placed. Mid-Atlantic was not the only company we asked to bid. Price is of course always an important consideration. However, that was not the primary factor in choosing your company. We are satisfied beyond expectations.

I met with Dave and we discussed deck design and he listened to my wants and needs. We’re very pleased with our new cedar fence, installed for Midatlantic by Nelso and his crew. The workers arrived promptly, made sure they knew exactly what we wanted, and performed very professionally as a team. When they were finished and had cleared up the whole area surrounding the fence, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had also removed debris uncovered when a landscaper cleared the vegetation along the fence line. This was not Nelso’s responsibility, and added to the load of old fencing that the workers had already removed. A special thanks to Nelso and his team.
Your friendly persistence in checking in while we were getting dead trees and much overgrowth cleared before the project could begin, kept Midatlantic in my mind. When all was ready at last, your final proposal and ability to proceed promptly made the choice of who to hire inevitable. We’ve had many compliments on the quality of workmanship and the materials. We wanted to write to say thank you for the excellent work that was done installing our new fence! From the beginning, Steve Crabb came out right away as we had fence damage in a storm. The turn around time was perfect. He knew our concerns regarding needing it replaced as soon as possible.
The contractor, Eric and team, did excellent work and we were amazed at the short time it took to complete the job! We had a special situation,a hill grade, on one side of the yard and Eric immediately addressed the concern and came up with a perfect solution!
The driver, Ed, who dropped off the waste bin was very concerned as we live off a busy street. He carefully place the bin in a portion of our yard for safety reasons. With his expertise, caused absolutely no damage to the lawn at all! Well done!

Just wanted to contact you to tell you how impressed I am with your repair services. About two weeks ago, I called and requested a repair when about six slats blew out of my privacy fence during a recent windstorm. The repair man (John) showed up when expected and repaired the fence. However he needed to replace post caps. He came back in a couple of days and installed the new caps. After completing the job requested, he then inspected my fence all around to see if there was anything else to repair. He found some of the ground had shifted (after the initial installation) and did everything he could to level the fence affected. On May 20, 2011, Chris and Carlos repaired my deck which had been damaged by a large tree limb which came down in one of the April storms. They didn’t just “patch” the area of brealage. They took apart the deck flooring and railing in order to replace the affected area with new lon 20″ boards. This work was done according to your instruction.
Early the following week, the railing caps were replaced at no expense to me. (To be removed the original caps had to be broken.) Your men commented that the job took longer than expected because the original installers had done such a good job.

My wife and I, (as well as our two dogs) are extremely pleased with our new fence from Mid-Atlantic Deck and Fence. We had a 4′ vinyl picket fence installed, but with several specific requests including an arbor, a double gate, and the addition of a gate to our existing vinyl deck railing. We also had some challenging topography on our property. We looked into several fence companies, but Mid-Atlantic easily stood out from the others. Our salesman, Mike, was motivated and prompt from the initial estimate to follow up phone calls and e-mail. We were deciding between vinyl and wood, scalloped or straight, and which picket style to choose. Mike took the time to present the pros and cons of each option, and walked us through the fine details of each one. We needed the fence to not only keep our small dogs in the yard, but it had to look great as well. I’m an architect and my wife is and artist and teacher, so the appearance of the fence with our home was one of the utmost importance. Mid-Atlantic met our high expectations down to the fine details. The installation crew, led by Eric, paid particular attention to detail, demonstrated experience in their craftsmanship, and asked us questions to ensure they installed the fence exactly how we envisioned it. I couldn’t be more pleased with my new Azek deck and beautiful, wide stairs to the yard below. I have been pondering this project and the design of the deck for several years now. Knowing I needed to have the old, splintered 3 tier deck removed and a new, improved design created, I purchased deck books galore. I struggled with choosing a deck that would better integrate the house and yard as well as resolve elevation changes.
Thankfully, a carpenter in my neighborhood recommended Mid-Atlantic Deck and Fence. I stopped in one day and had my first visit with David Yost who visited my home on at least four occasions as we fine-tuned the plans to create privacy where it was needed as well as create a maintenance free deck that is spacious and so attractive. Thank you, David, for your input, your excellent ideas, and patience.
Next, a marvelous crew headed by Tim Smith arrived bright and earlie on the appointed day to begin the demolition of the old deck. Such a congenial and efficient crew! I marveled at how quickly they could dismantle 650 sq ft of deck and coordinate the removal of the dumpsters. Within a day, all was torn down and removed.
Tim and his crew arrived by 7 am each morning to begin the construction of the new deck. All were patient when I asked questions during the process, and they demonstrated excellent teamwork and energy throughout each day. Even when I decided to add more post lights to the deck, as they look so beautiful at night, Tim and his crew were able to accommodate the late changes.
Neighbors have already stopped to admire the new deck and I look forward to enjoying it for years to come. It is not only beautiful… but I won’t have to strip and stain it as I did the old deck. How awesome is that! Many thanks to the team at Mid-Atlantic Deck and Fence.

Chris and Walter were both a pleasure to work with. Walt personally came over this morning to move the latch up higher on the single gate so that the children couldn’t reach it and he also walked the inside and outside of the fence to make sure things were cleaned up properly. He tried to spread and level the pea gravel that was disturbed during the construction of the new fence, but due to the ground being frozen, it wasn’t possible to do all of that day. He did assure me that he would be back to finnish the job when things thaw out a bit. Randy was also very pleasant in our phone dealings with scheduling.

On 28th, and 29th of September 2009, your foreman, Nelson and his crew installed 330 feet of cedar board and batten fencing around my backyard, plus removed the old fencing. Nelson and his crew did a beautiful job! Their workmanship was top-notch. Everyman seemed to be moving constantly, each one knew exactly what he was doing. When they were finnished all waste was gone and so was any sign that they were in the yard. They left a beautiful new fence. My wife and I are very pleased with our new fence and are very appreciative of the job that Nelson and his crew did.

Mid-Atlantic Deck and Fence installed a 5ft. four board paddock fence with black-vinyl-coated wire between the boards and the posts, around the perimeter of our backyard, about half an acre, replacing an old 4ft. chain-link fence, which was falling down in places. Mid-Atlantic replaced the fromt sections of this fence, with taller, decorative fence, shortly after we moved into our house six years ago. They did great work both times at a competitve price. One of our dogs had started jumping the fence, and we needed something taller. We didn’t want a privacy fence.We back onto the woods and the houses in our neighborhood are far apart. The price to use the decrative fencing for the entire yard didn’t work for our budget. Mike brainstormed with us about options. This fence is a great solution. It doesn’t block our view of the woods and we can now leave our dog outside again. The work was almost completed in one day, though they came back the following day to finnish a few details. My husband was cutting limbs off trees, so they wouldn’t fall and damage the new fence, as they had the old one. A branch fell on the front section of the fence, which we were keeping,and damaged it! Mid-Atlantic had a section of the same fencing in stock, and replaced it with no additional labor charge. They even cut down one last limb my husband haden’t been able to get, that looked likely to fall in the next strorm We couln’t be happier with our new fence. Its beautiful!

They showed up right on time, walked me through where everything would go and how it would look, and then worked non-stop for the whole day. Hello Bruce, Dave Yost had a unique vision as to how our deck could be laid out as to achieve a large open living area while incorporating a spectacular pergola as a raised and focal feature. Mike Karn took that vision and made it work on what is quite a difficult site. The design incorporated several steps and landings while the site is on a quite steep grade. Mike’s experince and superb eye for detail has achieved something that will be admired for years to come. The deck is everything we asked for and the price we were quoted was the price we paid. Good Afternoon Bruce, I wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know how well Taushlyn assisted me in my needs for a white picket fence for my home. More often then not, People can contact you to complain when things don’t go according to plan but never take the time to let you know when they do an excellent job. Although I was able to locate what I needed through your website as far as materials, when I called her to place the order she was pleasant and very helpful. I needed to get the materials kind of quick because I had scheduled vacation around it and she made sure I recieved the materials on the delivery date that I had requested. If that wasn’t enough, my installer measured short on the fence and I needed one more complete section to finnish the project so I returned to good ole Taushlyn for assistance and she was able to get the guys to cut me another section the same day for pick up by 3. I was able to swing by your company to pick up the product and take it back home for the installer to finnish the project. As the ole saying goes “Another Satisfied Customer” It is very important to have a good staff to help you produce the products for your customers but it is just as equally important to have someone in the front office that can provide excellent customer service.

Nelson and his crew were excellent workers and almost worked a 12 hour day to remove the old chain-link fence and install the new one! They were neat, precise, and very pleasant and we couldn’t have asked for better workmanship. From the beginning to end the process was like no other I have ever experienced.
