If there is a lot of loose dirt, trash, or dead leaves on or in your gazebo, then it’s best to remove all the loose dirt before spraying it down with a hose or another cleaning agent (which we will discuss below!) Sweep, brush, and dispose of the debris before getting the vinyl gazebo wet.
What If There’s Mold and Mildew?
What if you see mold and mildew stuck on your gazebo? You don’t have to invest in harsh chemicals, and you never want to use abrasive scrub brushes. Simply fill a bucket with warm, soapy water. A mild dish detergent should do the trick. Use a non-abrasive scrubber to scrub the mold and mildew away.
What If There’s Sticky Substances?
What if the dirt stuck on your deck is stickier and needs more elbow grease? Consider investing in commercial cleaning products safe for vinyl or using a natural solution like white vinegar and baking soda. You can also use a pressure washer to add more non-damaging force to your cleaning procedure.
